YOUTH MINISTRIES

Families and children are the church of today and tomorrow. We reach out to our young church, and offer full participation in our Faith Community through these ministries.

  • Youth Ministry -- service to middle and high school students, aimed at their formation as Catholic Christians, healthy in body, mind, and spirit. There are opportunities for pre-teens and teens to be involved in Life Teen activities, drama and music in youth liturgies, retreats on-site and away, trips, sports, service to our community, advocacy activities and more. Each of our individual ministries considers itself to be in service to youth. Our Faith Community is committed to inviting and including youth in all of our services and ministries. For more information, contact Chris Lafferty at 410-488-0400 ext 130.
  • Kingdom Ministries-- an evangelical outreach encouraging Christian churches and individuals to work together toward the common goal of building the Kingdom of God. Our mission is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with the changing communities of Baltimore, encouraging a lifestyle characterized by Christian values that can come to take the place of violence, substance abuse, personal, and/or family dysfunction. Kingdom Ministries offers basic Christian teaching and activity to all who are receptive. Operating from a mobile stage & sound system, our "YOGI BEAR" street ministry is geared for children aged 3-12, offering them biblical teaching, games, prizes, and prayer. We follow up these sessions with telephone and individual personal visits with children and their families to encourage long term relationships within the Body of Christ. Through small group “praise & prayer" meetings and other special events which consist of organizing and helping with a variety of Christian activities, we offer our services to teens and adults as well. Kingdom Ministries welcomes your inquiries, as we welcome your prayers, your financial support, your time, and your talents. For further information, please contact Mr. Christian Lafferty KingdomMinistriesMD@comcast.net or 410-488-0400 ext 130.
  • STAND for the Protection of Children & Youth – we are in full compliance with Archdiocesan Policies concerning the protection of children and youth. All paid staff, and lay ministers must undergo a process of certification that enables them to minister here in our churches. To learn more about this process, and/or to become certified to volunteer in our faith community, contact the Parish Office at 410-488-0400.
